Our studio is discreetly tucked away so it can be hard to locate the first time you visit us.
We recommend looking for and parking near Zambrero's, as we are down the walkway directly to the left of Zambrero's.
Please come in suitable workout attire. You are not required to wear shoes in class.
You must wear grip socks to Reformer classes. Entry without them will not be allowed.
The hot room gets SWEATY so towels are compulsory and a drink bottle is highly recommended for hot classes.
We have towels and grip socks available for purchase at the studio if you need or forget them.
Morning Classes
For all morning classes, our cancellation policy cutoff is strictly 8pm the night before. This allows people who are on the waitlist to know that they are in the class before they go to bed.
Afternoon & Evening Classes
Our cancellation policy is strictly 4 hours before class commences to give people on the waitlist enough time to organise themselves for the class.
For cancellations made after the cancellation cut-off times, you will be charged a $10 late cancellation fee. In the event of a no-show, your pass will be forfeited or you will be charged a $15 no-show fee (for unlimited members). All cancellation charges will be charged automatically through Momence.
Cancellations will not be accepted via phone, text, email or social media, and must be made via the Momence app or your online Momence profile.
In the event that you cancel before the cancellation cutoff and you have a class pass, the pass will be credited back to your account.
Formation Studio reserves the right to cancel classes if there are fewer than 2 people booked into the class. On the rare event that the class is cancelled by us, you will have the class credited back to your account.
Please do your best to follow the cancellation policy windows. We have tried to make the policy fair for everyone to enable you all to be able to make as many classes as possible with us. We understand that life does happen sometimes so we have set it so that you will get one free pass before you are charged a cancellation charge per month. The life happens pass does not apply to no-shows.
When adding yourself to the waitlist, you are committing to attend that class should a space become available. Please remove yourself from the waitlist if you no longer wish to attend to avoid late cancellation or no show fees as these will still apply in this instance.
Please note, you are only allowed to book one class in the reformer room, and one class in the hot room in any given day. The system may cancel you out of any double classes within the same room, at any point. This is called Hedging, and can cause issues within the studio booking system. Being fair to everyone to be able to get into classes, especially on weekends, is our priority.
Classes will always start and finish on time. The instructors will lock the front doors at the start time of each class. This is to ensure that all personal belongings are locked inside the studio.
On the instance that you do not arrive on the start time, you will not be able to get into the studio and your class will be forfeited with a $15 no show fee to your account.
We recommend arriving 5 minutes before the start of class to ensure you are able to attend your class.
The streets around the studio get busy in peak hour times, so make sure you leave enough time to arrive.
Classes must be paid in advance of each class attended.
Payment is to be made at the time of the booking.
Payment for classes can be made via Momence app & Momence online.
Intro offer is available to new clients only. This offer may only be purchased once. The offer is non-refundable nor transferable.
All casual pass packs will activate from the date of your first class booked.
All purchases are final and Formation Studio does not offer refunds, transfers, suspensions or extensions due to illness, injury, change of address or any other reason.
All passes and memberships are non-transferable and may not be shared.
Age Limits: If the client is under 18 years they must attend with a parent or guardian. Clients must be a minimum of 16 years old to attend all Studio classes.
If you would like to change your membership to another option, please let us know and we will try to action it within a few days so that it can switch on your next renewal.
Weekly Auto Pay Memberships can be suspended for minimum 1 week (7 days) and maximum of 6 weeks via email (hello@formationstudio.com.au). Memberships can be suspended for maximum 6 weeks per year. Please allow 72 hours to process membership suspensions.
If you are pregnant, you must notify your instructor how far along you are in your pregnancy journey.
If you are pregnant, no matter how far along in your journey you are you are unable to partake in the heated mat pilates classes, only Reformer and Yin Yoga. We do recommend you only join in our Form Reformer classes.
Formation can accommodate pregnant clients up to 20 weeks in our reformer FORM classes unless you are experiencing complications in your pregnancy. Once pregnancy reaches 20 weeks, it is critical that you stop attending all classes.
Pregnant clients must provide written clearance from your doctor, women’s health physio or OBGYN to participate in Pilates classes.
If a class is full, you can add yourself to the waitlist. If there are any cancellations, you will be notified up to an hour before the class commences.

There is a 4 week minimum term of all weekly auto pay Memberships. The term of the Membership commences on the date that you purchase the membership or such other date as agreed by Formation.
The membership will continue until you advise Formation via Email (hello@formationstudio.com.au). Seven days notice is required to process the cancellation.

Membership fees will be charged to your nominated credit card or bank account on a weekly basis via Momence. It is your responsibility to ensure there are sufficient funds available to cover the weekly auto pay.
If a payment is declined for any reason, we reserve the right to process payment anytime where sufficient funds are available in the nominated bank account or credit card in order to settle any fees that are owed. If an auto-debit is declined due to insufficient funds our payment provider will charge for any failed transactions. This fee will be passed on to you approximately 7 days after the failed payment.
Formation Studio provides areas for participants to store their valuables, but please note that we will not be responsible for the safekeeping of clients belongings while they are at the studio.
We make every effort to have the front doors locked when class commences.
The studio is a no phone, DND, Silent zone. Please ensure your phone is on silent and is left with your belongings. If you do need your phone, please advise the teacher at the start of your class.
If you have any injuries please inform the instructor prior to class.
We only allow people managing an injury to join in either Form, Flow and Focus.
We will endeavour to give options in these classes to adapt to movements, however we will not be responsible to cater to you personally as we are a group fitness studio.
Someone slept in... oopsy!
Please know that if an instructor does not arrive to teach the class, you are welcome to enjoy a coffee from your fave spot on us. Just send a picture of your coffee to our Instagram and you will be reimbursed as an apology from our team.
